Pastor Montie
Pastor Montie McFerrin is the Pastor of Saltcity Cowboy Church located in South Hutchinson, KS. He is currently serving in his 10th year as Pastor to the church.
Pastor Montie was blessed with two children from his marriage to Tina McFerrin, Katie (and Dustin) Patee has three children, Malley, Welker and Bristol. Colton, (and Dawn) has three girls, Annah, Kadence & Harper. After 34 years together, Tina sadly passed away on February 15, 2021.
On August 28, 2022, Pastor Montie was united in marriage to Debbie McCullough. Along with Katie and Dustin, three more children were added to the blended family. Kristin (and Cody) has two girls, Kodi and Cali. Amy (and Randy) has four children, Skylar, Jostin, Bentley and Gatlin. Jake (and Jo) has three children, Ty, Taysleigh and Tresten.
Prior to becoming Pastor at Saltcity Cowboy Church, he retired from FedEx in 2008. From 2008 to 2012, he worked some various jobs and preached and brought special music in many churches around the area.
On the first Sunday in December 2012, the group of people God called together which would become the Saltcity Cowboy Church, began meeting in the Sale Barn in South Hutchinson. They met there until April 2015, when they moved across the street to the old TSC building. After some remodeling, it became the permanent home to the Saltcity Cowboy Church.
Pastor Montie and Debbie enjoy their family, riding horses, camping and just sitting on their porch enjoying the view of wildlife. But their greatest passion is serving Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and serving the congregation of Saltcity Cowboy Church. Per Pastor Montie, “It is an exciting time to be serving here at Saltcity Cowboy Church. We see the Holy Spirit moving and the church is growing”. We invite you to come and worship with us.
